The Boeing Classic golf tournament will be held during the week of August 18-24, 2008 at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge in Snoqulamie, Washington. In three years the tournament has established itself as one of the top stops in the PGA Champions Tour for sponsor/spectator attendance, player experiences and charitable dollars raised, raising over $2.4 million for Greater Seattle Charities, including the Heart Institute and Nutrition and Fitness forLife Program at Virginia Mason Medical Center, and the First Tee of Greater Seattle.
This charitable event would not be possible without the help of 1,000 or more volunteers. Volunteer registration is now open for the Boeing Classic with over 20 volunteer groups from which you can choose to help. Volunteers are trained for their specific duties, so golf knowledge is not required for most work and you can pick the day(s) you are available to work.
Included in the volunteer package (valued at over $275) is the Boeing Classic volunteer uniform (2 polo shirts, wind jacket, cap or visor), two week-long admission passes, preferred parking during your shifts, meal vouchers for the days you work, and more. Register early and the volunteer fee through April 30 is $65. It is $75 starting May 1, 2008.
To register as a volunteer just visit www.boeingclassic.com, where you will have the option to sign up online or download the Boeing Classic Registration form to mail in. Either registration method you choose takes just minutes ot complete.
Don't miss the excitement of witnessing spectacular golf in August and helping make the difference to Greater Seattle Charities.
